The first storage product Borosil ever launched, the Classic Jar has inspired many variations, but the original with its elegant brushed steel lid is still one of the most loved designs. Flame proof and freezer proof, the Classic Jar can be used to store literally anything — from pulses and grains in your kitchen, to dry fruits and snacks in your living spaces, to purees and chutneys in the freezer. Since the jar is flame proof, it's easy to thaw the contents directly.

Usage & Care

Do: Use directly in electric oven, convection oven, microwave oven, fridge and freezer. Remove the lid before using in the oven or microwave. Wash with soap and a soft sponge, or in the dishwasher.

Don't: Do not use the plastic lid in a conventional or microwave oven, as heated plastics can leach chemicals at a higher rate. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers, to keep the surface scratch-free.
